Thursday Inspiration: Handmade Gift Giving for the Holidays

It's the season of giving.  Can't believe it's already that time of the year.  Around this time I usually like to make handmade gifts for my family and close friends just to make their presents a little extra special.  Giving someone a handmade product does take time, but it just means so much more because of it.  Will you be making handmade goodies for the holidays this year?  I can't even tell you how long my list is, but hopefully the recipients will like what they get. 

There are so many tutorials out there if you're willing to take the time to make something for someone, so you should start now!  I actually wished that I started "making" in July!

You Know What They Say in the Caribbean: Yea Mon!

My husband and I finally sailed away again for a week in the Caribbean.  It was definitely relaxing and exciting seeing new and different sights, eating exotic foods, and just sitting in white sand turquoise blue waters.  After this trip, we are already looking forward to our next.  It wasn't that hard to get our sea legs once we arrived on the boat.  Knowing what to expect definitely helped.  I did have to take medication for sea-sickness the first day, but surprisingly I didn't need it for the rest of the trip.  There were a few rainy days, but honestly I didn't care because I was on vacation!

I took along Dela Chicky the traveling owl.  Check out the pictures and see where we've been.

We love non-stop flights!  Very small planes, not so much.  Either way it was a great trip!

Every night there was a towel animal that was made for us!  I was very tempted to get the book for making these animals, but come on would I really make them?
