Have Luggage Will Travel

When I think of luggage, it's just a vessel usually made of nylon or plastic that gets my clothes and shoes from point A to point B when I travel.  Usually my luggage is boring - black or tan.  If I go out of the country, it's usually lined with blue painter's tape or a big ribbon so that I know it's mine since most luggage look alike.  There was one time where I put a huge green bow on my bag, and found another traveler had it in her hands ready to leave the airport!
Hello?!
Do you see that name printed clearly on the tag?
That's not you!

Found this Samsonite Silhouette train case at my Ma's.
Now if I ever traveled with this, I would be able to spot this a mile away!

My Ma bought this at a tag sale a long time ago.  See who got me into thrifting?!

There's a dent on the top part of the case, but it adds character.
And you can't really see it.

It used to house all of my sister's Barbie accessories.
Behold the remnants; hanger and ping pong paddle.

It still opens and closes as it should, and still has the plastic tray.
However it doesn't have the original keys.

The Samsonite logo is still intact inside.

Since my sister is WAY past the Barbie stage, now this train case has a new use for my makeup.

And some lip gloss.

And some nail polish.

I wonder where this fabulous little piece of luggage has traveled to?

hahaha i thought i was the only one putting green or red bows on my luggage, tags or anything else you can imagine of. i am so glad i am not the only one. i always used to have a black simple one and i could never quite make out which one was mine and which one wasn't. unfortunately my luggage was stolen lately :( :( and now i am on search again. maybe i should pick something unique and colorful as yours.
:D
definetely love this blog, you are so funny!

that is a very cute makeup caddy, and such a great color! Wouldn't it be fun to pack it up for an actual journey, on a train?

I have bright purple printed luggage, so finding my suit case is thankfully never an issue!
