First off I want to say that I'm a little sad that Picnik is gone. I've used the photo editing program ever since I started this blog and I'm now on the lookout for an easy program without spending a lot of money. If anyone has any suggestions or advice, please let me know.
1 Never thought that I would buy a pair of leopard loafers, but I've been on a hunt for a while ever since I saw a pair in a magazine. Didn't want to spend a lot on them, so I waited to get a 20% coupon for Kohls and then snagged me a pair!
2 Finally started my color block project. Don't worry I'll be posting it once it's done. I can't wait.
3 These leopard loafers needed two pics this week. When the weather finally cooled down, I paired it with some bright blue pants. I hope my fashion blogger friends approve?!
4 Happy - want a treat?!
5 Finally doodled up a quick cartoon for my friend Haley of http://www.thezenofmaking.com/ after posting a soy milk carton, and discussing over it on Instagram.
6 Tried a new curry sauce that my mother in law suggested. Not bad at all.
7 Got away for a few days and went to Massachusetts to visit my friends.
8 Passing by Beantown makes me miss it all the time.
9 A gloomy day to head back home, but happy to be back.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Too bad about Picnic! That was such a cool site. As far as editing colors, I usually just tweak it a bit on Photobucket...not as good but still works. Love your photo recap. And those leopard loafers are awesome!

I love those loafers, as you know! And I love KOHLS! Great round up of the week!
Thanks Ellie for the heads up. I'll check out Photobucket. So far I'm using Pic Monkey for edits, but I haven't found a collage maker. The loafers are awesome! Thank you!
Thanks Smita!!
Those leopard smoking slippers are totally killing me!

Thanks Courtney, I had a feeling that you would like them :)
wow...I love those leopard shoes..something which I am still looking too. I am curious about your color block project. Oh...that's our favorite Japanese curry paste. My kids love it. Your drawing is very cute, I like the simple line work.

I never use picnik but i hope you find something different. I use photoshop to edit most of my photos. I actually don't own any loafers and do need to get a pair!

Have you heard of Aviary? They have several different editing programs and I'm totally amazed at what they can do in a browser-- http://advanced.aviary.com/tools
I love your loafers! So jealous! I tried to get some last fall, but could never find my size. Not meant to be :(
Thanks Mongs. Hoping to finish the color block project soon!
I agree! Me too!
Thanks Yvonne...I'll be trying different programs until I find the right one
